either way, here's some helpful info on Oneighty Teen Center
Q - Who sponsors Oneighty?
A - Oneighty is the youth outreach of New Beginnings Christian Church of Brick.
Q - What happens at Oneighty on a typical Friday?
A - from 6:30 - 8pm the game room is open for teens to hang out and enjoy free games.
from 8 - 8:30pm we share an inspirational message based on the Bible that is meant to help teens find their purpose in life.8:30 - 9:30pm is more hangout time & we close at 9:30pm.Q - Is my child supervised?
A - Yes. there are a group of 5 youth leaders and at least 2 adult male supervisors that monitor the game room and build relationships with the attending teens each week.
Q - How much does it cost?
A - All the games are free. There is a snack bar that serves french fries, pretzels, nachos & chees, candy & drinks. the cost for that is minimal.
Q - Are parents allowed in and permitted to stay?
A - Yes. parents of attending teens for that evening are allowed to enter and stay the entire night if they desire.
Q - Are there rules?
A - Yes, below are the rules posted throughout the teen center
Everyone must sign in completely
Obey and respect all staff and leaders
No Profanity or Gossip
No Pushing, Fake Fighting or Running
No talking or disturbance during the service
No romantic displays of affections
No weapons, smoking or illegal narcotics
No abuse of equipment or facilities
No speeding in vehicles
Use garbage cans for all trash
Q - Is there a dess code?
A - Yes, it is mostly appliciable during the spring and summer months
No low Cut or Revealing Shirts
No Tube Tops or shirts with Open Backs
No White or Light Colored Cloth Shorts
Tank Top Straps Must be Wide Enough to Cover Bra Straps
Skirts Must Come Down to 1" Above Knee
Hem of Shorts Must Be Down to Fingertips
